Rooted in Folsom, CA from the day he was born.
Julian has been rooted in Folsom, CA his whole life. From valedictorian to Harvard Law to founding a law firm — Folsom is home. Now he gives back by leading the local Democratic party and engaging on the issues that matter to his community.
Julian joined the Folsom Area Democrats board in early 2024 and was elected President in 2026, growing the organization to over 300 members. In 2024, he was a supervolunteer who helped Barbara Leary win her Folsom City Council seat.
Under his leadership, the club hosts monthly meetings, community events, and has brought notable figures like Congressman Eric Swalwell and State Treasurer Fiona Ma to Folsom — always seeking to make Folsom more relevant in the Democratic Party and California politics generally.
From candlelight vigils to town halls, Julian shows up for the moments that matter. He's MC'ed TEDx Folsom, offers free legal clinics around town, and believes civic engagement isn't just about elections — it's about being present for your neighbors every day.
And if you're ever in Folsom, you can probably spot him at Planet Fitness or Chipotle most days.
America is the land of opportunity. My parents came here as immigrants — my dad from France, my mom as a refugee from Vietnam — and built a life from nothing. I want to pay that forward and make sure the American Dream stays real for the next generation.
Breaking the stigma around mental health in high-achieving spaces. Julian speaks openly about his own experience.
Access to reproductive care. The freedom to earn a living wage and thrive in your career. Safety for our kids when they go to school. A proactive plan to protect our climate and safeguard our wellbeing. These aren't partisan issues — they're fundamental liberties.
We accomplish more when we work together and treat each other with kindness. Politics should be about solving problems constructively — not tearing each other down. We need less division and more collaboration.
Folsom Democrats meets monthly. Julian is always looking for engaged community members who want to make a difference locally.
